Not sure of anything other than the picture and the guy says it runs. But it comes with a 20,25,36" bar. Guys wants $375 for saw all the bars and chains for them. I'm thinking if not scored it should be a deal.

Had made up my mind to go get it...do sent matter now its sold. I think someone got a smoking deal unless it was scratches or something bit still an OK deal at that I think if just a piston was needed. I figured I could at least re sell the saw for whati paid and then have thebars to sell or keep. Or send the 372 down the road and keep the 044 as I'm astihl guy.

You weren't hurting for a saw.
    Better deals will come along.
It was probably a good deal, not a great one, IMO

That wasn't a terrible deal. But a word of advise. It won't happen here so much (or maybe it will?).

When you post a deal on the internet? Be prepared to not get the sale.

There are many people out there that will scan CL (Greenwood Co S.C.) after a deal is posted and ask the seller to ship to wherever (No, it wasn't me)

It's a better idea to post pics of the deals you already bought. IMO.

I was thinking that while you were loading pictures, someone was counting out $375

Thought of that after Dex. Oh well. Wasent so worried here never of done it other places ;).

But I just saw it late last night so not like I could of gone and gotten it last night .

Best deal I have seen. All I see is farm bosses for that!! I was skeptical cause the guy sounded like he half knew saws but then had that price? He did say that when saw was made it was stihl "top of the line" a pro saw maybe but not the big dog for sure. That would prolly been the 066, I know there was an 084/088 but as we know those are not common saws that even tree guys even have.

Eh, that just means he's got better things to do with his time than trying to milk the saw for every dime he can get out of it. $375 sounds like a more than fair, quick-sale price, but not a giveaway. On eBay it might go for $600, which means the seller would get $522 after the fees were skimmed off. So maybe this guy didn't want to mess with all the extra photographing, describing, packaging, etc. just for an extra $147.

I agree was not a giveaway but was planning to either sell saw or one of my beat 372 then peddle the bars off or keep one or two. That 36" bar chain will go for$60 on eBay easy i think or $50 local.

Ah its spilled milk now?? Back to search. Other than calling the guy at 9pm last night I could not of done anything and bet he had it sold at that point anyway as it was pulled around 11pm.
