My brain is officially shut off. I do not think deep thoughts until Sunday. My side job is tomorrow but I can skate through that. Ahhhh, Friday night.

ETA. I talked to one of the town cops today who was at the court case. The drunk driver who crashed on my yard was found guilty of OUI and assaulting an officer! She is off to jail

Making 15G of lemonade and 10G of tea with my youngest to sell at the local Oktoberfest tomorrow. She will make more $ than I will working with my buddy selling BBQ.

I liked the calzones and the drunk driver who crashed in your yard and assaulted an officer going off to jail.

Thanks for all the nice words guys. As much of a pain the experience was, hanging around the courthouse for hours bored many times I got to a first name basis with about a quarter of the town police force and heard many an interesting story from those guys. Lotta worse things to do...

BTW the drunk driver was a third offender and was drinking on the job at the pub down the street from me, why they didn't plea it out.

Some of those pruning jobs are worth a lot more then removals... I use to love the people the waited until you were on the ground and then point out one or two more areas that they thought should be pruned.

That looks so good! Lucky you have a gas stove. I would really like to convert, but we have a fairly new glass top double oven that doesn't seem to want to break. I hate cooking on it, and I hate cleaning the white glass top. Hope the calzone was as tasty as it looks.

There was a glass top in the house when we bought it. Gas in the house and even an old iron line under the kitchen which was disconnected at both end at one point RRRR. We hated it... well we got used to the cooktop a bit but the oven was a sealed element job and would take ages to preheat, 30 min just for 350. Finally had enough last year, sold the old stove on craigslist, got my wifes cousin the plumber to run a new gas line and put in the new gas range and matching microwave. We splurged for a double oven job with the 5 burner/ iron griddle cooktop :MM::thumbs:

Today we cant be happier. Extra bonus is that we now have a working vent hood too, the hacks who put in the old micro just cut a jagged hole in the drywall and never really plumbed in the vent duct to the outside right.

Calzones were yummm.. and we have enough left over to eat again. Its not quite a wood fired oven but with the pizza stone we do ok.

Had some folks over last night and we sat around the outdoor fire and smoked some awesome food. Stuffed peppers w/bacon, smoked mashed potatoes, some burnt ends, and ended with smoked peach/apple cobbler. Everyone stayed over and this morning that dang coyote who has been harassing my flock of sheep for the last week was at it again in the lower pasture. I've been just scaring it away with the .22 since it's always 150 yds away or more and I hate the though of winging it. My buddy was excited to take a crack at it and dropped it cold from about that distance. It's been a pretty good morning here on the ranch.
