    Yeah, we've been in touch. He is planning on moving to land of " Live Free or Die" very soon. Thornton is a place we stay at for Laconia bike week every year. He wants out of New Jersey bad.

    In this way, it is much like upper Michigan! You just have more mountains. Maybe the same amount of moose but perhaps you are ahead of us there and we are ahead in the deer department. Wolves? We have too many.

    I've seen plenty of bears up there and here! We hold some records here.

    We usually see around 20 to 30 bear sightings a summer up to camp, a lot of them the same bears over and over. Some of them 10 feet away, we travel from site to site at night with a good light so we don't trip over them. We don't offically have wolves, but there are sightings that are usually discredited by Fish & Game. They would then have to manage them. Only 150 miles away in Quebec is a thriving population. Same thing with Mountain lions, or as they are called over in Vt, "Catamounts". There's New England talk for the rest of you.:binoculars:
