Dang! Gasifier that looks like a good test for that 24".

    IMG-20120705-00076.jpg
This was from a few years ago in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, before we moved to Ewetah. This Oak tree looked healthy, but the roots were rotten from over irrigation. It was in the lawn of the Baptist Church behind our rural Fire Station. The saw in the picture is a 288XP with a 28" bar.
I finished bucking, and planned on coming back the next day to noodle, and load up the blocked wood, but unfortunately some firewood culls were there when I showed up. That got a little heated.......I did manage to use most of that weeks alloted swear words, so that was fun. They left quite speedily.

    LOFL!

It was a test for the saw. Good training for it and me! :saw:

I did say to the guy that a 28" bar would be nice right now. We both laughed.

Some day, but that will be when I buy the CS800! Shhhhh.:zip:

Let me know when you get the CS800(it could happen), as I have a friend on the East Coast with some NOS 32" 3/8 D176 bars.

Many of you have CAD(Chainsaw Acquisition Disorder), but I also have BAD(Bar Acquisition Disorder). Fortunately I am currently in remission, and with yesterdays shipment of six guide bars to Minnesota, I am down to 50 guide bars in my garage. It has been a tough road from a high count of 300+, but I appreciate all of the support in my recovery effort.

Which part? Admission of a problem(first step), or the 300+ guide bars?

Nothing severe severe... Just some good ol' hard rain and some decent wind. I'd say somewhere around 3 to 4 inches. How much did you guys get up there?

Well between the dump run and a quick visit with my parents, cutting that tree up for my brothers buddy, and then doing some work around the house, I tired! Now the two 12 year olds, son and daughter, and I are waiting for their mother to get back from her walk. We will take a quick walk/run for about an hour.

I should be completely exhausted after that. Tonight I will  like a upload_2016-4-27_16-59-15.jpeg

Of course butter!!  The sausage was Italian, not sure of brand, still delicious!! Try Blue Parrot spaghetti sauce if you get the chance  WWW always adds extra spices but its so good I could practically drink it out of the jar.

I picked up the new to my parents pontoon tonight with the 4runner after work.

It was a little windy, and it is a trailer for up to a 24' pontoon, this is a 20'. It looks small on that long trailer, but that thing is a big air brake.

I also had to take the freeway. I wasn't happy about having to tow a loooonnngggg trailer that has narrow axles on the interstate in about 20 mph winds, but I did leave the dealership after rush hour was done. So it wasn't that bad, and I didn't need to navigate side streets in unfamiliar areas, or have to make crazy turns.

That pontoon pulls harder behind the 4runner than my 19ft ski nautique with a 351 v8 in it.

I have to put the stereo and speakers upgrade into it. Hopefully this weekend.

I'll get more pics of it when I put the stereo in. It seats 10 people legally, and it has at least 12 cup holders. 4 for the driver. Not bad, huh?
