I had lunch out of the office today with a supplier. My sales rep is leaving that company, and retiring early, at 47. Her decision, and she seems pretty happy with it. So we had lunch at a nice local place, and she insisted on inbibing. My rule on supplier lunches/ dinners, is that if the supplier has a drink, I get one.

I had a nice glass of Californian pinot noir with my fish tacos, and then she ordered another round for all of us.

OK, 3 smallish fish tacos and 2 big glasses of pinot had me a slight buzz when I was back at work. In a meeting nonetheless. Oh well. :drunk:

    All good.

The new rep was with us too. Seems like a nice guy. I'm no BS, he's no BS. Should work well.

Tomorrow I pick up the new to my parents pontoon boat after work from the dealer. I'll post up a pic after I get it hooked up to the 4runner.

I work with the brother of the owner of the boat dealership.

Caffeine going down. Another dump run today. Then time to get some work done outside, looks like the weather is going to be great!

Good morning, a cool overcast 50 with more rain.
Thunderstorms with hail last evening, built a fire in the garage stove hoping it helped my fiberglass project cure.
I get to work a 12 hour 3rd shift tonight so I'll be piled up like a dead fly on a window sill today.
    Be safe out there.

Nice imagery. Hope it isn't too hard on you.

campinspecter going out for his third wood load of the week. I hope the drizzle we are getting right now stops for him. I am getting ready to go for a walk again. I hope I don't see any more wild life while I am out there. the gardens are a real treat to see as I am walking through town. so many nice ones.

Not here. I just say I'm going to the dump. LOL There is a transfer station just down the road from me. The county then hauls it to a large landfill. They manage and operate that large landfill and capture the gas from it to help operate a plant. I'll have to remember what company it is now.

I took a little detour today. My brother had a friend that had a good size tree taken down in his yard. He just paid them to get it down safely and then cut it up himself. The trunk was too big for his saw so he was looking for a bigger saw to borrow. On the day that came up good for us both, today, I was already planning on cutting for myself. So I told them I would stop by and cut it up quick, then get back to my cutting. The biggest measurements were 51 inches at the crotch of the tree. It came together at an odd shape. But most were 48" and under. The 24" bar and chain got a workout for two hours today jon1212 ! Thanks again man.

He was glad to get it cut up today while he is on his day off and cleaning everything up. He burns wood in a small wood boiler he has in his house.

    Soft Maple.
