Dave, there is still lots of wood that has not been hauled out. I'll try to remember to get more pictures. But needless to say, we won't have to be cold for a few years. Still, this morning I found out the buggers took all the oak I had in the barn and burned that at night. Geeze, and to think, I had that sorted but I guess they didn't want to burn the junk wood. Funny too because one of the oak splits did sizzle...or else they poured some beer on it and said it sizzled...
Gotta have good wood for the camp fire too Better to burn the sizzling oak in the camp fire than in your stove ! !!!!Highly improbable that a hoarder wasted any beer on a camp fire !!!! Maybe after it was filtered thru kidneys though .... LOL Figured the boys have you set up with several cords you just need to round it up & stack it.
In unrelated (?) news, Backwoods says his well is working fine but has a strange unexplained saline taste to it.....
Hey Dave, I let the water run for several hours again Monday and that seems to have cleared up the chlorine smell and taste. Good thing. It was drying out our skin too but I couldn't go long without a shower. Besides, running that hot water on my back is wonderful!
You know it Brother! Did you sling some chips with that new saw yet? When your ready for more powah slap an adjustable carb on it and muffler mod it!
Not yet.... Need to get some Stihl oil and a can just for the newbie saw..... As for a new carb and a muffler mod, you'll have to drive down and help!
