Never any odor during stove shut down. Don't have any clue why you are getting that.

Finished the yard we use and the flower beds ...... Should be some kind of reward from the Mrs later :D

Went down to the culvert and ditch on the north side of the property (borders a gravel road that goes to an old abandoned farm that borders our wood lot) to see how much cleaning it needed. The town used to do it each year but since about 2010 they have skipped these rarely used roads because of budget issues. Well anyways .....

As I am motoring away with a wagon full of debris I watch a motorist flick a butt out his window. Drivers side so it stayed in the road best I could tell ..... but geez have people no common sense. :picard:

The ditch I took a load out of is bone dry. In some 40 years of living here I have never seen the ditch without at least a touch of moisture and this time of the year moving water.

Supposed to rain tonight .... Hope it is more than a light shower. I think the the fireman are getting worn out .

I am not sure what causes that smell sometimes, I was just thinking I smelled it last the pellet stove ran out.... I was thinking it could be stink bugs but I have never seen one in our new home. I used to get migraines, and instead of a visual aura I would smell that metallic smell, but I have not had a migraine in just about a year now.

Sounds like that new stove smell but you probably have had that stove for awhile . I would try maybe cleaning it a little more frequently . :smoke:

That Interwebby stuff can drive you to drink for sure.

We live in an area that has minimal choices for internet connections.

    Dial up :faint:

Satellite dish, which is OK but a bit laggy.

Cellular WIFI which is what we have currently uusing a Verizon 4G LTE stand alone modem.

We tried the USB devices from ATT as well as the little HOT SPOTS and they were a hastle, with constant dropping the signal and needing to fool with it (Pull battery, reboot and such)

The VZN modem has been great now for over a year with zero issues.

Good speed, allows streaming and just about everything I need to do.
Bundled plan with our iphones and 2 other cell lines that patch our old business numbers to my cell phone.

4 cell numbers and 15 gigs internet service, unlimited talk and text for $286 month.

Fios would be sweet, but that ain't happening here any time soon.

We tried Sat dish for a while, but it just did not cut it.
The cost was $$$$$$ and not enough bandwidth to suit me.

I don't mind paying an overage fee every so often, but the Sat folks just throttle ya until the next cycle.

Wanted to buy more bandwidth, but they would not go for it as we already had their top plan.

    Ahhh well.

    The cellular is working fine
