The White Pine in the first picture was damaged by the wind on 1/10/2016 so we'll bring it down along with two smaller Pines tomorrow. After this job is done we'll start hauling out the c/s wood from the woods. Who left the dirty underwear at Mrs. Backwoods Savage 's house?

Looking from the back of the tree, it leaned back and to the left so we put a cable on it and did a indirect pull off another Pine (pic 0050) just a few more cuts left and then I can split it. We'll have a few loads of chips for the trail, just gotta fire up the chipper.
Yes it was, some high winds blew part of the Pine just over the top of the newly installed flag pole.

Hell Dennis, I'm so close I can almost get the free health care in Canada. I been over once or twice , but I always return with good beer instead. It's sooooo much faster.
All the Pine I bucked up is split but I do have more of this Pine left to cut that I'll do tomorrow. The camera batteries were dead so I'll get some pics tomorrow.
I cut up the rest of the White Pine and then split it, I'm happy with the amount of wood from that one tree. We'll burn this wood in the fall of 2017. Two pics but one pile.
The first three rows in the trailer are the Yellow Birch and the rest is the Sugar Maple from the hill. Pic 0061 is the Sugar Maple stacked, once I finish the rack off it will be .62 cord or two face cord, 0062 is the Yellow Birch stacked, once I finish that off it will be .31 cord or one face cord. I did haul out another half load of Yellow Birch rounds that I'll use to finish off that rack and I have enough Sugar Maple stacked in the woods to finish that rack off.
