Caffeine going down and trying to wake up. I slept in until almost 07:00. W.T.o_O.? Hope to set a good steady pace today and get a bunch of work done outside while enjoying the beautiful weather. Pretty soon it will be time to cook up the bacon!

Headed to Portland today. May get a chance to meet #3 (grandson)... we'll see how the chaos is going at the fort where both Grammy's are trying to hog tie the other 2 free range chickens. Gizmo, our Eskie, hasn't been feeling too well so can't leave her here in her crate. Gonna be a 2 dogs & Bumpah day, on the road.

Have a great day everyone... :coffee:

With the clr (or lime away) it works best when it is left to soak for quite awhile.

Sounds like you're feeling guilty? You've gotta take the sleep when it comes, brother. upload_2016-4-24_7-14-54.jpeg

Naaa. Just surprised. I like to get up early. You are right though. You need to take it when you can get it!

But obviously I needed the sleep. I was sleeping by 10:15 last night. But then woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't get back to sleep for a while. :picard:But all together I think I managed to get 7 hours of sleep. Good to go! I finally cooked the bacon and my wife is getting the eggs going. :dex:

FHC day today as we deliver a load of wood to Granny's. got to get going and load it into the truck first. After a day of pouring rain yesterday, it looks like it is going to be a really nice one today. the tulips sure take a beating in the rain. My lilac looks like it is going to have a bumper crop of flowers this year. bonus.

I cut a few blooms and put it in a vase for her. My dad use to surprise her with a homemade bouquet when he was alive. :)

We continued working outside on landscaping today. My bride decided to forgo most of the vegetable garden (still doing tomatoes and peppers) and try her hand at some wild flowers.

I decided to trench in some electrical conduit from the garage to the pond. Notice what little help Doug was. :)

The trench goes right across the old garden area so I now plan on bringing in some topsoil and getting grass growing once again.

I also put in a small retaining wall (railroad tie) so I can rotate some of my wood racks so they won't face north, and maybe collect a little less snow. :)

Hope everyone had a good day.

I'm surprised the 31's don't clear with what you've done. I've seen guys on the Jeep forums run 31x10.5 with less mods to the suspension than that. I think the .75" more backspacing on the ARE rims may have been too much.

Well, after breakfast I got the rest of the enclosure (plastic sheets) off the porch today and put them all away for the season. Then cleaned up the detached garage and got out all my wife's gardening stuff for her. Then I went to work moving some more dirt to the road. The John Deere ran great. I moved a decent amount over about 3-1/2 hours. A lot of rock separating and leveling and back dragging. Progress, slow but sure. Fun work.:)

Had a really good day today. Met the newest little guy... held him for quite a while as he slept. Mom is feeling really good and looks forward to going home tomorrow. I also had a great time with the other 2 little guys. They are mighty excited about their new baby bro... ;)
