Beating the crap out of new router. So far it is holding its ground in the Bear's torture test and I can drive embedded systems nuts. The USB 3.0 port is great. Now if the folks at NetGear would get off those back versions of miniDLNA. Just for giggles I'll upload a full set of Dragnet complete with cover art.

Stinky metallic smell from pellet stove running out? Its happened many times since we moved here, but, we run the stove 24/7 so it has run out of pellet stoves many times too. It smells like the ancient coronet (trumpet) I had as a kid, there was no finish on it and it tarnished quickly. Any of you have a similar experience?

I disliked progressives - I could never get my head in the right position. After 3 years I still couldn't get used to them so opted for bifocals instead. Course I usually wear contacts (specialty that partially correct eye conditions that glasses cant') plus cheaters (readers to the rest of the world), so maybe if I had worn them full time I would have fared better. But that doesn't explain why bifocals work much better for me - not perfect, but better.

Haven't been to that venue (VHA) in a while, but most concerts I've gone to there the crowd seems good.

I like the one up in Guilford - haven't been to a concert in almost 3 years, so I wonder what kinds of upgrades they've put in. Seems every year (before that), they were always doing something to make the experience better - and they succeeded.

It may depend on the type of music. Low key or oldies rock music would be fine with these crowds, but we have been to many current rock shows where the freaking audience wants to sit. Godsmack 2-3 years ago, we were in the loge 1 section off the stage and we were the only ones standing. At one point, Sully was on the audiences case saying that "this is a f#$%ing rock concert. If you want to sit, stay the f#$% home on your couch".
Trans Siberian is similar (but they dont swear at the audience  ). Last year we went to the 3PM show and it was an older crowd as expected. A co-worker went to the same show and mentioned to me that the band seemed to not be into it and in fact left the stage immediately when they were done. No wonder, the crowd didnt give them much support........

Meadowbrook in Gilford is awesome and the crowds there are almost always in a party mood appropriate for the type of show. Godsmack there was outstanding ! This years lineup is pretty good, but getting too expensive for me. Don Henley, Rod Strewart, Journey are all in the $150 range for the front sections ......sorry, pass on a $350- 400.00 night to see old timers

60 bucks to see Shinedown and Halestorm though....that is going to be a great show

Trying to get some work done on the stove project.
The rain is not helping my outdoor work at all.

The grass is getting right along and I need to get the 3 point mower on the tractor and get after that stuff.

Then there is the garden plot that needs a bunch of horse poop piled on it to make things grow good.

Did I mention it is still raining and cold.

    Arrrrrgh

Winter is far less stressful, just keep the stove full is all.
