Well somewhat, not where I was hoping to be. But things are running despite TWC playing with their email systems.

I've just about had it with support folks out there.

Sorry man, what you hear is coming from my house

2 of these bad boys in the living room-each one has 2, 15" drivers and a 1700w amp. So with 4 drivers and and 3400w pushing them-Interstellar, Jurassic World, War of The Worlds etc are over the freaking top crazy and music is fantastic.

When playing with modems using my cheap little PC I always raise a pretty decent firewall (never trust your ISP boys and girls) until I'm sure the router is covering what it should. When my firewall rule set is running I can't play media through the media server using a normal media server setup. Once I'm happy that things are normal with the router's firewall rules I drop the ones on the PC and can use normal upnp clients like vlc to access the media.

Well did a little fishing today ..... :seasoned:

Had the same results as over the weekend .... :zip:

    NO salmon ..... :(
    NO rainbow ...
    NO browns .... o_O

So just like over the weekend, at days end motored over to the marina at Port Henry and jigged jack perch around the docks.

Having poor mans shrimp for dinner tonight. :chef:

Very unusual start to the salmonoid fishing this year. I thing the lack of run-off has left the water surface warmer than normal and provided less easy feed for the biguns. Going to head out to what we call the bowl next time. A large depression in the lake where there is a quick drop from 15-18 feet to 35 feet or so. Normally the biguns are not there until mid June but I think water conditions are closer to June than they are to April this year. Will know Friday .... and after all

The hunt is a fun part of the anglin game. :sherlock:

Yep ..... NEVER complain about fishing regardless of the catch (or lack of) .... because as they say

A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of lawn work (is there such thing??)

Agreed! Even a bad day is just fine with me.

We call perch poor mans shrimp here in North New York.

The fillets are about the thickness of bacon more or less. Soak em in beer or wine for about an hour, roll them up and stick a pick through to hold them in place. Drop in boiling water laced with hot sauce for a few minutes and there you go with a great appetizer or snack while playing a board or card game.

Years ago when we had a seasonal site in a campground all the fisherman (and woman) would jig perch at the days end from about now till Memorial Weekend and put them in a freezer in the places maintenance shed. The Sunday before Memorial Day we had a camp wide party and used them for finger food. Aren't many of us left from those days unfortunately (used to be about 25 families). My youngest daughter married one of the boys from the group.

Before sustained heavy work I take something a bit stronger and refrain from activity the following day.
