This Target chop saw has been sitting in my garage for a couple of years, it is time for it to move on. I have a couple of Homelite XL-98's so I doubt I will never have a need for it.

This is a Pioneer based saw, a P-60 that is 99 cc's. Compression measured 155 on my Snap-On tester after 6 pulls. The saw is missing the stack filter and cover but the felt filter is present and clean.

What you see is what you get, asking $175.00 plus the ride to your door from 40502.

I have never tried to start it, compression is good and it has a brand new plug.

I pulled the clutch cover and found that the saw is a 1980 P-60 which makes it 99 cc's. I have edited my first post to reflect this info.

I then took a peek at the cylinder and the piston is nice, but there are 2 lines on the far side of the cylinder. I am unable to get my finger in the exhaust port to see if it is a gouge.

Yes it does! I put a bit of gas down the carb and it popped. A couple of pulls later it ran. I immediately shut it off as I do not know what the lines are on the cylinder.

    Gary,

This is a Boost Port cylinder, correct? If so, does that mean it will bolt right on a 655BP?

It appears to be a boost port, but I do not have any Pioneer books to know if the P-60 cylinder will interchange with a P-61/62/65 or a 655.

I'll ask Don Lane, as I believe he was looking for something like this.

Also, is $250 too much for a 14" Bow Bar?.......LOL!

    Selling no, buying yes...

The last NOS Poulan one I bought cost me $50.

I know, I know........you were very accurate in your comments to that dolt over on AS. That entire thread is gone. I "reported" it as being better suited to the eBay/CL thread, and then the whole thing was gone.

It was there yesterday because I looked up his item number to see if he had gotten any bids.

I was talking about his Fishing Expedition on AS being deleted.

I realize that, just saying it was there last night because I got his e-Bay item number off it. I agree he was fishing, he is the same guy that thought his locked up Poulan cutoff saw was worth $250.

What was this members name? Did it start with a V and end with a D? ;-)

And the same guy that crashed my Poulan Pro Super 380 thread by making multiple erroneous statements about K041 bars being obsolete.

Hmm. I never heard of a P-60 with boost ports. I'll have to check mine. My 655 had them.
