Thinking about going with a bigger tractor. Currently have a John Deere 3320 (32hp) with 625hrs. Just so happened that one of my buddies parents is looking to get rid of his Kubota L5030 (50hp)It has 800hrs on it. They want to go to a 60 or 70hp tractor. Comes with ag tires and rims, turf tires and rims, and a backhoe that mounts on it. They are looking to get $16k for the tractor. All maintenance has been kept up very well on the Kubota. Is $16k a good price? Anyone own one of these that can give me any input and how they like it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Sorry no pics of Kubota. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Assuming there is a loader on it as well, 16k is a fair price for sure. Did they they move the loader controls on those down off of the loader frame? One of the best features on a Deere is the location of the loader control stick as you are already familiar with.
What kind of transmission, Glide or HST? FEL? That seems like a very fair price for a tractor where you know the owner and his/her usage and maintenance style. I'm thinking you could get more than that for your JD and wind up with a bigger tractor and $$$ in your pocket.
HST trans. FEL. Remotes in the front and back. bucket and forks. And the loader controls are still factory. They haven't been moved yet Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That's a great price on a well maintained 50 horse. All the bells and whistles too. The easily go for over 20k with way more hours. Scoop it up!
This has been well maintained fluids and filters changed every year, and garage kept. Don't think it's sat outside over night one time. Going to talk to the owner this week! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Wait! If it is in nice shape, I want to buy that! What? Sounds like a good deal. Check it over good. Check all fluids, bushings, cylinders. Look for welds that aren't factory, etc. See how it was cared for of course. Good luck!
