Called the tree service a few days ago. Same one that took an elm down in my back yard. I called to just get a price for taking down an ash and a walnut. Besides being proactive about eab, they both are in the way of where we want to rebuild our fence. The trees in the center of the picture are the two. At the same time my mother has an ash that looking bad, lots of wood picker holes in two big branches. I told to price just dropping them. I would limb them and buck them and haul away to the tree dump (limbs) or to be split. He shot me some good prices so I gave him the nod. Usually hes swamped so I figured it would be a month or so.I just got a text back saying he would get at them...all 3...tomorrow. Oh boy, better get my chains sharpened, it's going to be a long day...er, weekend!
Excellent! Hope you don't need any stronger stuff though Sent from my iPhone so pardon any autocorrect bollocks
Sounds like fun! I love how they built the sidewalk around that tree. I wouldn't be able to resist having someone carve the stump into an attacking bear or something.
It should be fun....maybe the squirrel will help me. Hopefully the only thing stronger will be a beer at the end of the day. Yes, my mother made sure that my father went around that tree. My mother loves trees, in fact I just helped her plant a white spruce. My father use to plant all the trees and shrubs for her when he was alive...so it's always fun to do that for her now. I did pick up an extra chain for 450 today. Should help keep the production going.
Enjoy your day or two of cutting, start slow and warm up so you don't pull any muscles. I like to walk around the wood with a coffee and plan my attack before starting.
I see that. They were working earlier and the photos are still out there on photobucket. Grizzly Adam do I need to redo links or something else?
You are right. Odd, I just opened up the photobucket app and they show up but when I try to grab the URL link it says it can't fetch them. Hopefully it's just a glitch on their end.
