Close, he went to help a neighbor and came home laughing at the name of this brew

90% done on cleaning. WWW has some mouthwatering food cooking. I am taking a rest. Reassemble and we are back in business!!

Pretty sure the air wash holes are still clogged. I tried a dental pic as bobdog2o02 suggested along with the shopvac crevice tool. We shall see if works:)

Igniting. Too pooped to use glass cleaner or get the dust off the stove for a full shot, but this is a bit of proof:)

Sorry... But I like to pull that card every once in awhile! ! These are phenomenal heaters!! Hard to beat something that just needs fed for one month (have to empty the ash pan every once and awhile) at a time and need zero cleaning.. ;)

The little song birds lilting outside our window this morning @ 4:30am stated they didn't think you were 'sorry' at all.. :D

I hear you - low maintenance is a beautiful thing.

We purchased replacement parts for the little Francesca here recently - and found the design had changed on the Flame Trap plate bracket for the (newer) Ravelli stoves vs. the original Ecoteck part installed on the stove: the old bracket was a solid piece, the new design has an air path channel formed into it, to allow additional air into the Heat Exchange assembly.. Which greatly reduces ash buildup in the Burn Pot.

With the new parts and some minor re-tuning, the stove is running excellent! * Props to Ravelli for part interchange on the newer Francesca units -> to the older Ecoteck stoves.

We can actually run for over 24 hours w/o having to shut down and clean.. * But we still do, old habits die hard.

A clean stove is a Happy stove ! Only takes about 10 minutes a day for the cleaning.

    --
Most folks I've talked to over the past few weeks are no longer burning pellets - we are definitely in the minority here in this area, they are letting their primary heat source (oil/propane/NG) carry the load for shoulder season.

Since we're able to tune the stove here way down ( < 1.0 lb/hr ) to better control heat output, we will keep using it vs. oil, but I can understand (and appreciate) why folks with larger stoves would just turn up the dial.

    * I saw a F50 on CL recently for about $3,000 - tempting, but would have first dig out a basement to install it.. That monster would take up half the living room here.:picard:

No bullchit...not magic, cant make extra heat out of inferior pellets, they dont clean themselves.......they just run and burn well.

i can't take credit for mine. I was leaning toward a more utilitarian looking stove (i forget the brand, but it was way less $$$$$) and my wife said she liked this 52I 'cause it would look good in the living room. a $1000 gooder:bug:????? i'm thinking????? sometimes it's best to shut one's pie hole:zip: and just say (and I quote) "yes dear, you are right" and she was:thumbs::thumbs:

Amen to that buddy. Too nice this weekend for chores.

Truck needs front rotors replaced (warped because I didnt change them on the brake job I did a year ago) but for some reason I just could not get the truck to turn into NAPA on the way home.
