    Eek! Got thermals?

Were heading down to the single digits. But the wind chill is gonna make it feel much colder. Chester is supposed to hit us tomorrow, Oh boy more snow!

I hope this is the last blast and a warming trend is coming.

mmmmm....love the cold weather! good pellet-selling weather.....would like to see it somewhat colder tho........when I worked in the oilfields, saw a righteous -38 F below (actual temp, NOT wind chill) in the Wind River Basin in Wyoming...that was glorious!

I still like the cold. But I have burned more this year, than I did last year and the year before. I burned just over 2 ton last yr and the yr before.

I am at 116 IIRC? I bought 4 different trial brands and gave a ton to my dad, so my count is a little mixed this year. I know I am within 10 bags.

Stay warm Sub... those are some cold temps bud.

Did you ever figure out your burn issue? Check gaskets in the door and ash pan?

twice had to thaw the pump fluid with a torch twice the other night
and cried every time I had to get out of the Jeep and be outside. Hovered around zero
last night but much colder w wind chill. Somersets in the hoppa making it very pleasant in here.

I'm just south of you SS, and we have been much colder this year than years past for sure. I work outdoors most days and it has been tough at times keeping the extremities warm. No bother keeping the house warm, the Oslo is burning like a champ.

There has definitely been a lot of cold this year but it's really just a normal winter. We've been spoiled buy a number of warmer than normal winters and now we whine about how cold it is.

Might be normal in your neck of the woods, but it's been brutal here. Snowiest january ever, and there are still 5 more days to go. Depending on how cold it gets over the next few days, we'll also be in the top 5 for coldest january ever too. Don't mind the cold or the snow, but the wind...:mad::mad:

    Yeah, very odd weather.

I grew up in Northern Maine. Weather here is quite similar usually. Just lasts longer and snows less.
