70cc too much saw for what I do. There, I said it, let em fly. I'm just a scrounger, occasional noodler. Good reviews on the MS 291 from what I've seen.

    CL has nothing decent.

Cnice, thanks for the offer. 20" bar is all I would need.

We need a New England GTG just to meet up and run and compare some saws.

I run a bone stock 029 super. It's the same size motor as the ms291. It has almost as much power as I could use on a regular basis. A mufmod, and tune will wake these up, so I hear. I have yet to mod my muffler.

I can say a nice yellow full chisel stihl chain really wake these up too. Cuts the mustard I guess :) I put a new stihl full chisel yellow,16" i forget the letters, but I posted it here on FHC, and it really cuts well.

I also tried my buddy's stock Ms 460 mag, 78 cc with Oregon full chisel 20", and I was impressed. I'll probably add a 70+ cc saw at some point, but I'll more than likely get the 029S breathing better this summer.

got up and went for a walk. Not really motivated this morning so if it had been pouring rain I don't know if I would have gone. Sitting at the breakfast table and looked out to see it really pouring down. Glad we went when we did. Summer weather is gone for a few days. Rain, wind and drizzle instead.

74 and sunny here in Florida this am. It's headed to nearly 90 today and tomorrow. I'm sore as hell from walking all over universal studios Florida, both parks yesterday.

    Pool lounging day today.

Oops, out of beer. I will need to run to the store around noontime.

Taxes finally done. Self employed taxes suck. Serious suckage. Now I can't even decide what sounds good for dinner.

Went fine. No effects from anesthesia other than remembering NOTHING from 10 minutes before and 10 minutes after they put me under. Like nothing nothing.

Back to work after 10days vacation - surprisingly not much torn up when I got back.
I got confronted about taking salary Operations manager job. Not sure if I want to give up 7on/7off straight dayshifts for a 4-5 day workweek and weekends like all you suckers with desk jobs

There's pros and cons.... Weigh your options on both sides.

Being a desk jockey isn't all that bad.

probably not as much as I earn now with 1.5 OT - just straight time OT when needed, but not having to work as many hours is a factor in the plus column.

I'd see myself going kind of stir crazy if all I did was sit at desk and move emails around or spreadsheet numbers.
I can still get out in this job, most of why I'm reluctant to take it is the inexperience I'd be managing.
