That sounds super great Shawn. If you get here too late and we're in bed, just make yourself at home. lol

Coffee. Disposable serving spoons sounds good as I didn't think of those. Wife is planning on buying some heavy duty paper plates of some kind along with eating tools.

Unless someone else has it covered already,

I will bring a huge veggie platter and veggie dips that will travel easy.
Big cooler of bulk ice for everyone to use.
And a lot of food service type spoons, spatulas, tongs and the like.
2 coffee makers, lots of coffee, half and half, sugar and sweeteners.

Do you have any kind of estimate/count yet, Backwoods Savage ?

Thanks Tim. We can get the ice Friday locally.

Last estimate I had was between 25-30. I'll probably get another count next week late.

btw, many will be coming early and staying late. For sure on Friday, my wife likes to make a concoction of pickles and bologna and probably boiled eggs. During the bon fires she plans on mixing up some bannock and for those who have never had it, it is delicious! I don't think anyone will go away hungry.

Tim, we don't do any bbq or grilling here anymore. All I know right now is Swags may bring a large grill and a neighbor has offered a couple of them as they have family reunions at their place every summer and that is what they do. I don't know other than that so will bow to your judgement. I'll probably even let someone else do the cooking but all we are planning right now is hamburgers and tube steak. I have thought about getting some other meats but haven't yet decided. Oh, my wife is also fixing some meatballs. I don't think we'll go hungry.

I'm only a few miles from the wholesale place. If you need disposable plates, serving spoons, foil containers, or food goods let me know. I should be arriving Friday around 7ish hopefully.

I've also got the giant coffee maker too ;)

I've got one request. Can someone bring a sharpening jig so I can try one out?
I've never used one. I need to see the light.

I used to cook and do coffee every Saturday for my dad's weekend breakfast with his old fart buddies.
Short order is fun, mainly because I always would present them a good looking, great tasting breakfast sandwich, as opposed to whatever my dad had been putting together prior to me taking over- they gave him a bunch of crap for not getting me involved sooner:rofl:

That was years ago tho, but I can still kill it:D

I love to cook, but I don't have anything on that. As you would say, that's rich. Let me know when dinner is done. :)

My wife wants to get some of those plates which seem super heavy for paper; they almost feel like a plastic. Some heavy duty forks, spoons and knives too. She says she will also recycle all of the stuff if possible.

Here is a picture of the plate she wants to use but right now she is not sure if she can find them in a local store. It has a good height to the lip so would work well for beans and things like that. On the back for the recycle number it has 5 and Made in China (of course). Believe me, these things are tough; difficult to bend too. And once again, yes on the coffee maker.
