    Yuk, that just su..ks major bigtime. My job had me working a lot of weekends. We got used to it, but never would say it was my ideal schedule. Missed too many family events. My job gave 25% diff for week ends, and another 10% for evening and night shifts. Double time for over time over 8 hrs.

    There not too bad Larry our weekends are only 4 hrs home by 0900 so I don't miss those family things , but I know what you are saying my Honey's an RN when she was on the floor it was every other weekend every other holiday :hair:

    Cooler today, rain coming by early next week.

    Made 81 F today.

    Be happy when we are done with the early heat.

    By Monday 68 F then 59 F Tuesday.

    I took a part time job after I retired some 16 years ago. That crept up to 32 hrs a week, then backed off and now none at all. I don't have deductions and the taxes were killing me. Made it not worth it. Wife also retired. I showed her where she was working for $2 an hour after taxes. Now neither one of us are physically able to work.
