The Accentra just got cleaned today. Been burning Okies Platinum and the past week the Cubex. Still calling for cold weather so back on it goes.

Our stove is fairly similar to the Serenity. Now we are using the SmartBurn I only clean it at all when I see the flame starting to wane. This is usually after a month at which point I drop the cap off the flue Tee and suck out the crud with a vacuum from there and in around the firebox. That is it.
Got smashed on the other site for suggesting these things had any value but I sell them at cost with every stove I sell and refuse supply a stove without one. I've sold over 500 of my stoves and I can guarantee my complaints have fallen substantially since everyone started using them. That to me is great mate. Just ordered another 120.

Shoulder season is upon us here in the PACNW and we had a spot fire yesterday morning for about an hour or so.

Late yesterday afternoon I fired off the AC to make sure it works OK.
Was in the low 70's F yesterday afternoon and the stove was off all day and through the night as well.

Likely not gonna be needing the big stove much more if at all this season and just may go ahead and do a complete cleaning inside and out to get it ready for the LOOOOOONG warm.

Did run the big whit on Wed morning for a couple hours as it was near freezing over night, but the weather looks to be pretty good for a while.

About the time I clean the stoves well it will turn nasty again.

We got about an inch of snow tonight... So the furnace went back on Hi/low!!

After getting almost 4 ton downstairs? I don't mind running it at a higher set point! Seeing how there is 3 more ton in the garage!

So long as warmer Weather hits soon? I'll have 7 ton for the next 2 years!

Along with the normal cleaning I'll brush a little deeper around the heating tubes and also use my vac small tube attachment to get down at the bottom of the tubes . I'll also clean all the holes in the fire pot and after I vac the inside I'll open the outside panels and vac the blower motors and everything I can reach :D
