As a Sci Fi series yes but there are others with longer duration and episodes.

News Shows -- A couple near 70 years

    BUT

I thought we were discussing entertaiment shows. Though I admit some of the talking head shows make great comedy

Well episode 3 is playing. I never restrict things to just the US.

I'm an equal opportunity type of woodland critter. A show can be stupid or not, no matter how long it runs or where it is running.

Got home last night to a noise out front. A piece of aluminum on a gable came loose in the wind. Only had a 40 foot ladder available. Dam hard to manage by yourself. Cut it free. Now need to put in a new piece. Have to borrow a b ender. And see if I have any extra white aluminum. Always something

We had a big burst come through our neighbor hood... It knocked down a tree, which in turn fell on a utility pole,
which in turn broke in half, then landing across the road... Evidently, when the thing went down, the lines
stretched, ripping the Power line (of course it had a transformer), cable line, and phone line off my house!!
    Nice.
To their credit... the power company was on the scene within 15 minutes with three big trucks..
They ended up getting power back on, with the lines and new transformer on the ground... within an hour and a half.
Then they spent the rest of the night, putting in a new pole, and restringing the wires... Great job...
I thought we would be out for a lot longer...

you came through that one fairly well, all things considered. I've had the electrical service ripped off my house before. a gravel truck neglected to lower the bed and proceeded up the road catching the lines.
We had thunder and lightning, rain, wind, but I haven't been out (dark now) and there is no damage known. Still having severe storm warnings in the area and moving this way.
