You folks are getting winter, I'm in spring like weather. That'll change again I'm sure We are due our 6 weeks of cold , dry & wind. Just waiting for the jet stream to move south again. When it does, winter will be back here with vengeance . We're almost to 7 hours of daylight though, Gaining near 5 minutes per day
Cold the last couple of days...not by AK standards but lows in the low teens. Today we got a bunch of snow and milder temps. Real wet snow. Eck!!!

We have had more than usual. But...it's all relative. I think we got 2 inches today. Bad part of the Midwest is we get the extreme heat and fairly cold. I'd love to have about 20 - 60 degrees year round. Wouldn't do much for agriculture I suppose, but it would be more pleasant.
Similar weather going on in Maine where most of family resides. Either it's been very cold or warm and raining.
Just went outside 20% chance my arse. Was dry this afternoon, then slushy snow, now wet snow, 34° Snowing hard !
I meant to ask if it was snowing at your place. Been snowing here since about 7PM. Rained almost all day, then started turning into flurries around 6ish and full on snow by 7. The weather forecast I was looking at (somewhat reliable) said 60% chance of snow, up to 1". Supposed to be warmish and rain the rest of the week though.
We got about 4 inches last night. Just got back in from plowing our drive and then I went on down the road and plowed an older couples drive for them.
Supposed to get another arctic blast here next week. Got a freak snow squall yesterday. Dumped a few inches here and just 10 miles north got over ten inches of heavy wet chit. Mid to upper 30's for the next couple a days and I hope it all melts before the cold comes back.
Spring today ....55 but back in the teens in a few days. Maybe a little snow tomorrow.... crossing my fingers.
