100% spot on. The problem with these videos is most folks don't know about that little fact. We really are the 1% here as far as wood and chainsaws. Johnny Homeowner has no clue as far as fair comparisons between 2 chainsaws.

So true... I just ran my Stock 440 with a fresh sharpened 3/8" chain and 261C-M with used lo pro chain... If a Newb seen this vid? They would say take the fast one..

A fair comparison is saws of like displacement (most times.. Unless it's a JW 365!) and the same chain and same wood.

These saws are over 20 cc apart.. but only 1.5 seconds apart.. if cutting small wood? I'd still take the 261. At the end of the day? You're back will thank you.

Well it looks like Mr. CTYank has left the building.

Certainly would be interested in some unbiased testing of these models....

Being somewhat new, I have not experienced what it takes to get banned from this site, and to be honest, the idea is somewhat frightening. I have seen many of the conversations here and what it must take gives me chills. Haha!

You pretty much have to try to be banned. You know it and go into it knowing you will be banned.

You could say it's really hard or basically impossible to get accidentally banned. But it's easy to do if you want to.

When I worked another type of forum as a MOD it was hard but yet easy to get banned. We were really tight about feedback to people breaking our rules and did lots of temporary restrictions, like having your posting suspended for a few days or being set up so that only the MODs could see your new posts until one of us approved it as a public posting. To get banned you needed to just keep on doing the things you had already been warned about as if you didn't care.

Then there's some that pizz and moan about mods. Then given the title, he or she gets a happy trigger finger and pulls the plug on members that have a different view point.

Yeah or the guys who break rule after rule justify their actions by claiming the moderators have a personal vendetta against them.....

On some sites that is the case where a single individual can make that call..

We have numerous staff members and we take a majority vote amongst all staff here. . So everyone gets a fair shot. Some of us don't visit certain forums as much as others and may not even know of a problem. So there is always a few that have a level head and think differently.

    A good policy.

Some folks just need a change of scenery to clean up their act, others not so much. History does tend to repeat itself so chances are a guy who got banned from one site will be banned from the next one too, eventually.
