"Liked" that out of respect for you searching/posting it...ONLY. No, I was hoping papadave would still be awake and link up the propah CCR classic.....
That was proper green river. Birth of grunge. Respect! Mr bass player You owe 90% of the flannels you've owned to them.
Without Green River, there would be no Mudhoney, or a small band called Pearl Jam. Stone Gossard, and Jeff Ament got their start in green river.
Yes, heard of, not sure if I ever heard them. Couldn't name a song. Sorry, my music tastes stopped around 1980 or so.
I remember having one of these for a while. We also had a '66 Olds Vista Cruiser........Looked a lot like this one... And an Oldsmodile 98 kinda like this one.......I loved that car Later, Mom had a '69 Mustang...just a base model (can't find a good pic After that one, she got a '71 Mach 1....the wheels are wrong on this one. We had others as well.
My dad had an Opel GT for a while. Really a project car but he drove it around. It was blue with the Bondo trim option. Two seater with flip over headlights. I recall a lever had to be pulled to flip em'. Same color as below. I really need to ask him how he ended up with that.
Learned to drive on a '66 Chevelle, 3 on the tree. My father kept it so I couldn't damage a new car while learning to drive. To his satisfaction I did put a big dent down the side when I lined up on the garage door a bit off. oops. It got sold soon after to kid that leaved near by and had been asking my father for the car for years. It didn't last very long after that. It was a stripped down base model, as I recall a 194 straight six. Would have been cool to have kept it and worked on it.
I remember one that looked similar to that. We liked to ride in the back (no seatbelt requirements) and the tailgate swung open as opposed to tipping down. My parents were working night shifts, so they kept blankets and pillows in the back for when they picked us up at around 3 am. I liked that wagon
