What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

Watching the movie Willow. The bad guys are idiots, they were cutting down a tree to use as a battering ram and actually had a guy under it as it fell. SMH.

 

That's a good movie watched it several times when my children were young.

 

Just saw a sawbuck out on the battlefield. Not sure why.

Come on by, BUT I just lost power to to auto accident. Was in process of heating the oven to heat up lazy lasgna. Now have to wait for 2-3 hours while they replace a pole. Oh and my laptop has only 20% power on the battery

 

Hope you got a charged smart phone.

 

I do but its not the same. I swore I had plugged in the laptop this morning, but Surprise !!! I didnt

 

Oh and we were watching the first episode of this season Sons Of Anarchy, and out it goes. Have all 13 episodes on the DVR ready to go.

 

In my book, that last one would have been a lucky break. The old lady really likes that show, though.

 

We both like it, but after several season dont know how mush rehashing they can do.

Snow day here so not much going on late afternoon. We did watch the first 2 episodes of Chicago PD. Pretty good so far.

 

I haven't heard of that one. But we don't have cable, so it's tough getting introduced to new shows for stations that don't have a Roku channel. I watch a lot of fox, which is just fine-- it's what I used to watch the most on cable. Seen one episode of Enlisted so far, that show looks like it's going to be good.

 

Enlisted looked good. I follow a few shows, dont have that much time for TV and these ones that yiu need to see every episode to stay with the story are harder to keep up with.

 

Yeah, they can be draining. I follow Doctor Who, Bones, and American Horror story. Don't think I can add any more serious shows to my list, not that Doctor Who is serious. Oh, any Sherlock, but we only get three episodes every couple years.. All feature length and all better than the Robert Downey Jr movie.

 

ugh! Bummer. ...at least you can stay warm.

 

Snow earlier in the day, brought in some wood for the week then went to a friends house to set her up so that she can work remotely. While visiting with her, we went to a new BBQ place in Carmel NY, best pulled pork sandwich I have ever had. Wow that was good stuff. I had some of her brisket Reuben sandwich. That place gets an A+. the portions are HUGE.

You also have no excuse to not buy just about any hand tool you don't already own that you see. You have the room. No sense wasting it!

 

Well, now you have to go back with a camera after that write up!
