There are some great independent or underpublicized movies. Toss around some names to share amidst the members.

I will start with a few.

Kalifornia- might be Brad Pitts best acting job, and a great thriller. Truly a violent movie, but not graphically, in theme.

Mr Nobody- you need to watch it multiple times before you can be in a position of subtle understanding. Don't think anyone will truly understand it in total. A love story of high level.

Manhunter- oldy for sure, at least by a few decades. Made by the producer of Miami Vice. A prelude to Silence of the lambs.

    These are definitely worth watching.

The Devil's Rejects- extremely violent but great characters, well directed and some great songs.

    Lawless- a very good movie.

    Just my opinion

Devil's Rejects was a fine movie with a great ending. Guess I didn't realize that one flew under the radar.

Lonestar State or Mind and They Live are my two pics.

My picks are both Guy Ritchie's (Madonna's ex-husband).

"Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" and "Snatch"

Both are violent dark comedies but I really like the characters he develops in them. Jason Stratham and Brad Pitt star in them.

Boondock Saints, 1 & 2. No one ever seems to acknowledge these films?! IMO, much better than some of the current action films out there. They were fun!
