Giz/Emma and everyones pets on the board

I must have the strangest critters - I never had success with Frontline or Advantix for any of my dogs (when I had them) nor my cats. Oh, it works for about a week for fleas, and that is about it. I have better luck with Adam's flea/tick collars - just have a hard time finding them, especially for the cats.

We use these collars. Seem to work OK. Can't use Frontline on Giz... it caused a burning reaction I guess and she went ballistic...

It will definitely be hard and weird to come visit and him not be there. I still remember when you brought him home as a puppy.
Give the girls big hugs from us. We will see you guys very soon. RIP Dozer. I haven't even had the heart to tell Aaron yet knowing the waterworks will come.

 

She's getting bigger...but going to end up small for a lab. 8 months old and 35 lbs.



She's mellow for a puppy and unbelievably mellow for a lab puppy. Hasn't chewed anything up either. Nothing.

 

Used front line for years. Worked good, but now it does not. I was warned about fake stuff, but I am fairly sure I have been using the original stuff. My vet advised us to go to Advantix for the dogs and Advantage for the cats. The advantix is the same as the advantage plus permethrin." However, cats cannot metabolize this ingredient, and will suffer from toxic effects if exposed. Now, Advantage can be used on both dogs and cats, but it won't control ticks. Plus advantix also control mosquitoes. see: Advantage vs. Advantix: An Important Difference

 

Size won't matter so much. If anything, she be easier to walk or take on a trip. Both of mine are over 100lbs. I've had a hard time teaching one not to jump on anyone. She doesn't on me, or the wife, but others she may need to have an occasional warning not to do that.

 

She's not small....she's sporty.

 

I figured it would be. I texted her yesterday. She said she was having a rough time.
She sent me the pic of the paw print and the box plated with "Dozer". Very nice.
