Strasburg Railroad trip

The mrs and I took baby piney out to strasburg pa to ride the old steam engine. She seemed to love her first train ride and it was a beautiful day for it! Of course i had to get a pic of the log pile we stopped by. Baby piney even pointed at it witha smile when she saw it.

Oh my, we did that back in the late 70's early 80's with our daughter. Not sure if she was impressed, but I sure was! Same accouterments, I notice! Do they still do the "ghost whistle?"

Man is Baby Piney growing up....seems like y-day we were congratulating Mom & Dad for the new arrival.....thanks for taking us along on your trip Piney.

 

I try to stay away from lancaster city lol. Had the pintle hitch stolen right out of my work truck there . Within two minutes of me walking away from the truck too! Sneaky little bastads they are

 

Nice! She looks like she had a great time! And why not? No seat belts or car seats and hanging out the window!!

The only time I've been on a train, I had to run alongside of it and grab a handle first!!

Just bustin your stones. Just minutes outside the city it's some beautiful country!
