For you guys with mice hanging out under the engine covers, you might want to put some moth balls in a sock or stocking and hang it right off the motor. Once you have a mouse chew your coil wire you'll be really mad.

Got the new paint done this afternoon.
The splittah is normally under the lean-to off the side of the shed behind the pole barn. Once we got the first snow, which wasn't supposed to be nearly as bad as it was, it stayed right where I left it....right next to the pile of Maple I had planned to split.:picard:
Thinkin' real hard about adding a section to the woodshed so I can just keep it parked up front for easy access.

My back go into spasm and pain more than I care to recall. One thing I have found that helps, but is hard to be disciplined enough to do, is to do some stretching exercises before using the back. Seems to loosen me up enough so I don't have so much discomfort.

    Yep.
Had a couple of the dogs with me, so when I stopped, we took a walk out back......stretching as I went. I didn't do any before hand though.:picard:

I was thinking about doing some splitting yesterday but, ran into computer problems hooking up my tablet to the PC, not what I wanted to do at all :headbang: but I wanted it to work right, after half a day of searching and figuring out how to fix the problem, I said chit too late to start now, got it fixed but pain in the azz messing with that stuff.
    Life Goes On:)

After futzing around for a good chunk of the day doing other stuff, I managed to get out and split enough to fill the trailer.
Supposed to be mid 30's and at least partly sunny the next couple days, so I'd like to get that trailer load stacked.

And the rest of the Maple rounds from the delivery last year. I'm having some doubts that it's another 1/3 cord, but it'll be close.

Gotta call "the guy" in a couple weeks for another delivery.:axe::stacke:
I'm gonna get back in the 3 year club if it kills me, although I may not need to if Ash and Beech are as good as folks say they are.

Not much better after a good splitting session but that DIET variety just ruins it. :smoke::wacky:

    "Yes Ma'am!"
