not singling you out, please do not take it personally, but this is a good example. Rider on a sport bike can LEGALLY go 55 on this twisty road. You KNOW a car on this road can only go 35-40. Rider out having fun, rounds the blind corner and runs up on a D@M slow moving cage, swerves into the other lane, which I am sure is double yellow line, and passes the slow cage. Rider is now pizzed off the cage was going so slow and almost killed him. BS. Just because you CAN, does not mean you SHOULD.
Can you clarify the statistics here? I can't believe that there is right. To my simple mind it makes it look like bike riders should quit complaining until the DUI % of accidents go way down.
Any fool can buy a motorcycle, automobile, or guns it doesn't mean that they know how to use them, and an over inflated ego can have bad results.........
Yep, my old Airhead BMW...with the center stand removed...at a track day at NHMS going down into the "bowl"...just to be clear.
was just looking up NHMS videos and found this. yea. Oh if I was wealthy... and SINGLE... We grew up riding, but mom always told us we couldn't buy street bikes while we lived at home...she's probably smarter than we'll ever realize... c'mon mom...NO...Please...NO!! [insert pouting emoticon here] dad, can I buy a bike?...ask your mother..... yes, I'm entertaining myself here....
Lotsa lean angle doesn't = high speed. The Tail isn't a fast road, the Cherohala Skyway on the other hand.
