You can reduce the shipping a little if you add one of their low dollar sale items that has free shipping. I don't buy from them much due to the shipping (22 ammo). They are one of the few places that ever have the Federal Suppressor brand 22 though which I like very much.
Good trick to know. I browsed through their free shipping items, its amazing how many of the reviews said "I added this just to reduce my shipping charges"!
I know some of you have had issues with the Federal automatch. I've shoot many rounds with no issues. I got a notification from sportsmansguide back in January of 2015 that they had it in stock for $16.14 plus I had a $20.00 gift card. By the time I submitted my order, it was out. I got a backorder notification and just kept accepting it as it updated. Yesterday it hit my door step. The blazer and thunderbolt I picked up locally.
Targetsportsusa.com removed the limit on 22! Fed Automatch $25 per 325 rounds and free shipping ....When you Buy 10 That is. Not super cheap but its an easy way to stock up.
Affectionately referred to as ThunderDuds around here. I found they shoot alright, but never had so many ftf in my life.
Election is coming. Election is coming. Election is coming. Election is coming! I'm done buying 22. Moving on to buying a .308 since indiana made rifle hunting legal finally!
Passed the house vote Tuesday. Gov Pence needs to sign it still but he will. This is how we got pistol csrtridges approved in 07. Only legal on pvt ground and must be a 30 30, 243, 308, 30 06, or 300. That is the list for now. No others. Expect those calibers to be revisited by dnr addendum, considering 300 is vague as hell, but this will be into effect this July 1 since the bill was signed with emergency status. Google house bill hb1231for more info. I can't link from phone, sorry.
You have no idea how stupid our hunting laws are here. I can squirrel hunt with a 270, but not deer hunt. This is what happens when politicians make hunting laws instead of the wildlife side of the gov. Now back to our regularly scheduled 22 discussion.
I've noticed that too. Back before all this they were a "premium" bulk .22. I haven't had the chance to shoot the .22 Blazers I bought recently, but I'm hoping CCI hasn't lowered their quality.
