    After dropping wife off at work, and running errands, it was time to cook for dinner.

    Home made Italian Meatballs.

    Onion sautéed in butter and then add a little of left over meatball mix. Fry well. Then add wife's home made spaghetti sauce and simmer. image.jpeg

    In crock pot put a layer of meat sauce, then double layer of hard lasagna noodles. Next is layer of mozzarella and a little Parmesan cheese. image.jpeg
    Here is where I then sliced cooked meatballs in half and made a layer of them.

    As you all know I have to try them to be sure they are safe for the family.

    Add a layer of ricotta cheese. Repeat sauce, double noodle layer, and mozzarella cheese two more times. Crock pot lasagna with meatballs.

    Cook on low for four to five hours. This batch I was a little late on so cooked on high for first hour. Low for next 2-1/2 to 3.

    MUST WORK OUT before this meal. Then walk after! :rofl: :lol:

    Always good to make extra meatballs. Let them cool well. Then into gallon zip lock bag and then fridge to cool more. Then into freezer for next Italian meal.:thumbs:

    OK Gasification 2 things

    1 :yes: to you for making sauce in cast iron pan.. IDK why but it taste better that way.. maybe cause that's how grandma did it

    2 in 5th pic it looks like one of the meat balls on lower left was taste tested. Chef privilege or did you have some help!
