As I've gotten older, I appreciate naps far more than I used to. A nap on the couch in front of the stove is great.

Funny how these two posts can go together......

I WAS going to comment on how I agree with both, but together they just take on a different meaning :p

I gave away my old Weber and it is still going strong. That grill is at least 15 years old .

I gave it away because I dont use propane any more. :grizz:

Sorry guys, after looking at pellet grills years ago, I went with a komado and use lump charcoal. I too was wondering how much I would use it but once you get the hang of it, it lights almost as easily as a propane grill and is way better. I use the komado on a regular basis-a least 2-3 times a month in winter and 3-4 times a week in summer.

IMHO, it is more versatile than a pellet grill and does not need power.

Pickin up what your putting down JT. Wifey is out working on the yard and I don't feel like working today. Cleaned the e2 this morning. All the work I want to do today. A new receiver was installed in the stove Friday under warranty to hopefully stop the t stat from not talking to the stove intermittently. Worked well Friday and Saturday so maybe all is well. Gonna watch the race and chill. May try to go out and motivate my better half. umm maybe not she has a few sharp tools out there.

Those are under lock and key with the Explorer guarding the door. I've been training it to be an attack truck - done well with its lessons as witnessed by the little old lady's car that got totaled :D

And 1 row of vodka on the very outside to keep Will out :p

The truck guarding the outside tons before I built the wall of alcohol - look at the puddle of ice to the left of the truck - all that's left of the last guy that tried to sneak past (when you get real close, it is yellow) :D

Made considerable progress today condensing the stash. I was just going to leave them until i realized that i wasnt going to be able to get to my summer tires this year, as they were behind many tons of pellets. I got about 3.5 tons on top of other wrapped tons. If i use up about 35 bags from now till april, i'll be able to get the tires out and park the rider mower in there once more.

I got my fire pit ring from Northern Tool. Looks like a nice heavy made unit. made in the USA . Now I have to decide how I want it installed. Lots of options with this style.

I also bought a Propane BBG for the wooden deck.

I haven't done any BBQ stuff for a couple years. My son wants to have get togethers here again so this looks like a fair beginning without going too deep in the $$$
Today, he and his wife were very busy burning off some big brush pile he had made from clearing the overgrown area that I used to have a big garden in and also form some of the wooded area next to it. He is setting up a golf Frisbee area so he and his friends can have some fun.

We wish them the best. I'm excited! a grandchild to get up on the tractor seat and ride on my lap! cool!
