Oakie golds were ok. Low ash volune. Ash is a bit denser like a hardwood. Heat is typical of a softwood. I burned 4.5 tons. I would jump on them at $240, if pd wasnt selling better stuff for $199. Dont know anyone that has any in stock cheap locally. Well minus mount upton who has a moutain of them.
Jay I have a bag from every brand I've burned in the past couple seasons. I will go through that pile and if I have any not already covered in your post, I will get the UPCs over to you for the master list.
yes.. I read that on a bar scan site.. I think somewhere here I actually did post a couple brands barefoot/Lacretes with Incorrect 10 digits but too late to delete...
I burned a couple of bags of the Okie Golds over the weekend. Exceptional heat and nearly no ash. Very impressed.
So I finally decided to break open a bag and put it in the P43. Been burning mostly Pres-to's in there, with a few Infernos thrown in every now and again. The PTL's and Infernos have been throwing 225* air out the tubes, as measured by an oven thermometer that hangs off the top lip and in the middle, above the door. The Okie golds threw 250* heat out the tubes, so I'm happy with that!
