Just about that time. Hmm, P43 is clean and burning now and I'll bet I can clean the P61 and drink at the same time, so maybe that time is now .

This just appeared in my email and support ticket.

Should I capitulate or should I press forward with several more issues?

    Hi David,

I discussed this issue with our engineers and found out that this is a limitation on the miniDLNA server versions on C3700. We will be offering you an upgraded model C6300 which can support more than 8000 files. I will let our L2 support discuss the replacement process to you.

Here's the datasheet of the 2 units for you to see the features and comparison:

    Thanks,
    xxxxxx

Vodka did its thing and got me to getting (more) stuff done. After cleaning the Cellar Dweller, I vacuumed the house - moving furniture to be more thorough. Then decided the futon cover needed washed. You know how hard a queen-size 6" thick mattress is to undress by yourself? Lets say that DWTS contestants don't work that hard or sweat that much. Actually, getting the cover off was not bad; getting the old (but already clean) cover on was a spectacle.

Hey, but I got it wrestled into submission, added a freshly washed blanket to the seat portion (keeps cat hair off) and threw the laundered throw pillows on. The cat was certainly appreciative - at least I think he was, he jumped right up there to take a nap. Of course that isn't different than any other time so it's hard to tell ;). He looks comfy, and that's the important part right?

Finished off the batch of vodka tonic (lemon/lime) so made a new batch. Decide to use some almond extract and a touch of vanilla for flavoring. Let's just say it tastes

After my session with my ISP, I'd be inclined to go with a separate modem router set up. Maybe stay with my 4500 as I can replace every bit of software in it. There are no less than 3 open source replacement systems (Linux based) for it and I won't have to worry about my ISP needing to push the updates to it when they update the router software. ISPs seem to be back in the medieval time frame and I'm tired of crawling up command chains. We will see what the replacement thrash entails.

Looks like a good day to do the second to last leaf blower treatment.
Also torn between queuing up my Vermont's or burying them for a later day.

I did that yesterday. i had been meaning to go for a haircut for so long it reminded me of a youtube video where they shave the wool off a sheep. much better now!.
Today is the weekly stove cleaning/bring in pellets for the week day. depends on the temp today but i might try to re-arrange the stash a little to see if i'll be able to fit something else in there besides pellets this summer.

    Rain and more rain.

Weather folks are calling for an "Atmospheric river event"

The plume of clouds and moisture is trailing clear out to Hawaii

Rain for at least the next week.

The folks down in Cali to the south of us are getting slammed.

Drought for few years then floods, never a happy medium.
