Getting low, though... taking the cautious route, at this time...

 

After tom i will be over 5. Planning to get 80 bags of platinum. $4 a bag baby. Still have 75 oakie gold (had hoped to burn them but $200 a ton softies have stopped that) 90 blazers and 45 orford softies.

 

I'm the rumor. its true. 15 tons in there. packed from back to front door, floor to rafters. plus about 40 bags of green supremes im saving for the chilly but not cold nights in the spring.

 

regarding the addiction thing - I dont really see it as such. I saw it as a wise financial decision. The price of these keeps increasing, dropping. never know what it will be from season to season. Stocking up at a price you know is really low, plus ordering in quantity is a smart move if you can do it. $65 flat rate shipping means you pay $65 for 1 ton deliver or 20 tons.
Keeping a few years on hand, I now have the ability to ride out temporary shortages and periods where the price is overinflated. If the prices stink next year, i can wait n see next year or the year after.

in summary, the first step to curing addiction is admitting to it. As you can see i'm not quite there yet

I moved the ton of ThermaGlo's left in the garage into the basement (will burn them while it is warmish out), so I should be able to get the 3 ton delivery of Oakies into the garage today. Gotta make sure all those don't even have a remote chance of getting the good stuff!

Just ordered six tons from Lowe's @$199 each. Should be here Wed hopefully all pallets intact.

What did you get ?? and check them out closely , most of the pallets that I got pellets off of this week at Lowe's had some bad bags , not just at the bottom .

 

I am hoping it's Timber Heats and or Natures Own. They wouldn't guarantee my choice but kinda said I could get what I wanted. I am aware that some of the bags may be damaged upon arrival. And if there is any damage I will take care of it........

Most definitely!!! I think I'm going to run over and grab some Nature's Own. Hopefully the pallet is still there.
