I'll have to give the Windex a try. What is the difference between the yellow and the blue Windex though? I do get hundreds of those little buggers on my front porch during the fall, and some likely hide in the firewood I have staged on the porch. Every time I bring in an 8th of a cord, I find several in the house. I just added one wrapped in tissue paper to the BTU's in the stove last evening!
Thanks, that's good to know. Now I'll need to try both the blue and the yellow. Maybe even load up an empty bottle with some diluted pine-sol or other disinfectant to see if that is the killing agent.
My wife uses a few drops of Ivory in water, she puts in a sprayer to use in the garden for squash bugs. This is lethal to most insects as it breaks the surface tension on the thorax, the bugs suffocate as they can't breath then. You have to spray directly on the insect, no residual effect.
Do you mean lemon scented? I've never tasted it, so I can't say that it isn't just lemon scented, and actually is lemon flavored.
