Either one is safer than doing it at the top of the ladder or worse yet while on top of the roof. Aside from the possibility of falling is that mass want to come down all at once like an avalanche. My snow rake was something like $30 years ago. I went to check and found a Canadian dealer that has both

"Sometimes my head hurts and sometimes my stomach hurts
And I guess that it won't be long
For I'm sitting in a room with a bunch
Of people whose necks and backs are aching
    Whose sight and hearing's fading
Who just can't seem to get it up
Speaking of hearing, I can't take too much loud music

I mean I like to play it, but I sure don't like the racket
Noise, but I can't hear anything
    Just guitars screaming, screaming, screaming
Some guy screaming in a leather jacket
    Woah!"

    Thanks
    Sold out! Wonder why?
I got a feeling it wouldn't work for my application as I have too much snow. It would be a periodic chore during the winter to keep the snow level at a reasonable height to make it work

The simple rake would save the ladder and shovel risk for very reasonable price of a few handfuls of loonies. I'm only a few year older than you, I've already learned that I don't bounce very well.:pain:

I'm about 90% recovered this morning. So no more resting for the weary. I have to go prune the fruit trees out back...Everyone have a great day!

i was a teenager from 1967 - 75. we had the BEST music then, hands down, excepting a few who came later - Stevie Ray, Dire Straits, and a few more (help me out here)

in high school i was in charge of playing the national anthem over the PA in the morning. Jimi Hendricks had just come out with his version...... yup, i did it!

i was not in charge of that any more, but the school rocked!

I couldnt agree more. I was born in '63 and always said I was about 10 years too late. Although I missed alot of the bands during their heyday, I did get to see many of them at the music clubs of Boston in the 80's.

I still get to see many now at larger venues for their "funding our retirement tours". Some are now asking way too much for what they are....Journey and Dave Mason are playing together near me this summer....for 100 bucks per ticket-I dont think so :hair:. Too bad, I would really like to see Dave Mason...Journey, meh

Some that I saw at very small intimate places years ago

    Jimmy Page
Eric Clapton-at a club in Boston to warm up for a tour
Roger Daltrey-at a club in Boston to warm up for a tour
    John Entwistle
    Gregg Allman
    Dickey Betts
ELP (in a club with Powell, not Palmer at the time)
    Felix Cavaliere
    Blue Oyster Cult
    James Brown
    Mark Farner
    Foghat
    Leslie West
    Outlaws

More that I cant think of right now. Man I miss the local music in Boston back then as well. Good stuff from small names

The one band that I would pay $$ to see reunite is Dire Straits.

Mark Knopfler solo is still great, but it isnt the same. I guess Mark meant it many many years ago when he said he was done touring for Dire Straits :(

Luckily I did manage to see them 3 times and Mark solo twice. :)
