Many shoot RWS and Eley in my league, I find CCI standard to be reliable and the recoil to be tolerable. Most other guys shoot Hammerli and Pardini etc.... I'm competitive with a ruger that likes cheap ammo..... What is your elevation? I'm barely 350 ft above sea level here.
Varies between 600-800 ft in my parts. Which 22/45 are you shooting? Straight sights or optic? Local club league? I have wanted a 22/45 lite since they came out....somehow I always spend the monies elsewhere.
The ruger mk and 22/45 barrels are interchangeable... it used to be a mk3 frame with a TS 4" upper, and all the Volqiluartsen goodies. Burris fastfire red dot. I sold the mk3 and put the upper on an OLD 22/45. Kinda bored with bullseye and switching to some rim fire challenge events this summer. And yea, the bullseye is a local league, about 12 clubs host teams. William Penn Pistol League.
