I have a shot at some Okie Golds at a reasonable price. Any recommendations pro or con?

Read the pellet reports is all I could suggest. If they're are Douglas Fir then it should be good. Never tried or seen them yet.

If you're getting the ones selling for $200 a ton in S.E. NH, well worth it.

I don't think the Okies are 200 but I'm waiting to hear back from him.

The Golds are yellow pine. There wasn't anything recent and I didn't realize where the "Pellet Bag" section was. Sorry for posting in the wrong spot.....

He was advertising NEWPS for $200 and OKIE Golds for $240 but his latest CL ad posted yesterday now says $200 no matter the brand. If I was closer to that location I'd snag a ton.

I sent him an email early this morning asking if he would deliver out my way - so far no answer.

Hope they are good - I just got off the phone with him and he is delivering 3 tons on Saturday. Paying $240/ton plus $40 for delivery - can't beat that with a stick since I am 70 miles away :)

Yeah I was pretty sure the Okies were still $240...I'm so tempted myself.....I'm only 25 miles away.

It's still a good buy. The wordsmithing in the ad confused me but that's actually not hard to do.

They are very good, I have been burning them all season. Where did you get them?

image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg I pulled the trigger myself on 2 tons. Talked to him on the phone and he was in my driveway in less than an hour. Great guy. Very personable. He's got a couple hundred tons but he's not looking to move them all now. Says it was a bad year to break into the pellet business but he is going to do it again next year. I wouldn't expect the price to go lower.

Great that he is going to stick around and try again! Sounded like a nice guy when I talked to him.

B if there was any question before now, this definitely makes you a member of the pigs club. This will put you at 7+ tons no?
