A buddy of mine manages a pawn shop and just got in a 661CM. The DOM is 11/14 so it is just a little over a year old. I can get it for $775 plus tax (6%). I tried to get a picture but my camera is full. PM me if interested.

You won't find another for that price! Mine has been great - it's cut a garage bay full of lumber for me. But - I've heard some guys had problems with the earlier models. I think that DOM is right around the time they started shipping the again after the recall.

Here in Lexington all items bought by a pawn shop have a 14 day quarantine period before they can be sold. Any item pawned has a 90 day redemption period. An ID is required to sell/pawn and the shop has to report the items to the police.

The manager has told me there are items in his shop that have been on police hold for more than 6 months. Tools are a small sideline for this shop, you run the risk of encountering stolen goods in many other venues as well. As always, use common sense and if you are not comfortable with the deal move on.

No disrespect towards your buddy was intended. It was only a play on words perpetuated by the stereotype of the profession. Sounds like a great deal on a late model beast of a saw and thank you for offering to help facilitate a deal with friends and members here with no benefit to you. I would do the same.

Cool. PM me a name, address, and what it'll be with shipping and I'll get you a USPS money order in the mail. If that's acceptable.

Not really, did spool it up and then turned it on all sides to see if the idle speed changed.

Pizz rev is just when you grab the throttle and run it wide open no load.
