We went a trip to civilization yesterday. 1st stop was HD and got 15 bags of Stove Chow, since the first four ran well. I thought it best to really run these through before buying tonnage in the future. No sense making the same mistake like I did with the Maeders. Then off to let the wifey do some shopping. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks, I got some sort of head cold/flu thing with a minor sore throat and sinus pressure. The throat thing subsided just as the sinus thing went full bore. Hey, who left that hot tack in there? Still under the weather today. No T-shirt weather here anyways.

Well, I soldiered on and drove the Mrs. about until we stopped at an Army Navy store, a favorite of ours. I wasn't up for anything, but she asked me to come in with her and just see if they had some work jeans for me. I had tossed a bunch the last month so it was getting to be time. I walked to the bin on the wall found my size listed and in the cubby was one pair, not even a type of jean I would wear. With my quest over I turned to leave and she was standing by a round rack waiving me over. You're going to love this she said: the whole rack is your size, Carhartt blue jeans marked down onto a final clearance price of: $8.97.:bug:

So I got six pair for the price of 2 and we rode off into the sunset. I felt lousy but it was a good day!

Outside light install. New smoke / co alarm ( not a smoke show alarm:D ), oldest son and his bride coming over for a for a 50 * barbecue dinner.

May have missed the boat on cheap chows or FSU's at HD, saw tons of mulch, seed, soil, etc. but no full clean tons of the better stuff. They did have tons of Nations Choice though. Did buy a few bags of Chows and NC just for grins.

Took the Road King for a quick ride up the road. Felt really, really, really good. Cmon spring !!

    Pic's for proof

Framed out under the stairs for shelves , used to have some here ,but had to remove them when I had the interior drain and sump pump put in , figured it was time to put them back as we always need space .

4th straight day of 40 degree, bright sunshine, perfect skiing weather. made 9 runs in the morning while the snow was nice, had lunch and an Avalanche smoothie:yes:, then 2 runs in the pm before the legs said "stop". A captain and coke while sitting outside on the patio was calling me:cool:.:D

If only the puddle's weren't covered in ice. We'd get the boat ready. Hopefully in a week or two?

I just dismantled and took out the batteries of a my little pony horse after midnight. Very cute toy, but obviously not waterproof after lil one gave it a bath in in the sink earlier tonight. Good night. Finally.

I'd be happy if I'm not burning on June 28th this year!

After getting less than a bushel of apples last year after the frost killed all the blossoms from 9 feet down I hope so also. It was our main crop!

    Good Morning All,
I've was cruising the "other" site the other day wondering where all the guys went that used to contribute when I first joined. Did a search using screen names krooser and JTakeman and well....here I am. Glad to be here. Missed some of you veterans advice and expertise. Not going to throw any stones at the other place. I'll be here and hope to contribute on the Harman side of the house.
