William figured that out a few weeks ago. He's got it down pat now.

Now Badger can't escape from William when he thinks the pup is a pita. There's no safe haven anymore. ;)

How did Sandy handle the thunder? fortunately we don't have problems with thunder and firecrackers with these three dogs. I nearly had a 130 lb shepherd in the bathtub with me years ago because of firecrackers.

Sandy was fine in her crate. Never made a peep. We may try thunder storms with Giz in her crate too next time. Security thing might help.

Giz had a little re-lapse in the upchucking dept again last evening, before we had any thunder. That upchucking is what caused the whole loose stool fun so we're wanting to stay ahead of it. I'm pretty sure reducing her food amount is the only way we're going to keep her on track. She just inhales food now that Sandy is here. Fed Giz much less this morning and she's kept it down. More times a day with less food each time... we'll see how it goes.

We didn't hear a thing. I know it come through here. One of my daughters who lives just a couple miles from here was awaken by her dogs because of the thunder. One of my dogs sleeps on the bed with us, the other on the floor right beside my side of the bed.

Any one here have tips on chronic ear infection? Yeast, Blondie (dog, long ears). I have a new med, cleaner, and asked them to flush her ears during her last dental 3 days ago. Today I still see some junk in one ear? Poor thing has had it since we got her at 6 weeks old. I can get it cleared up for almost 6 or 9 months and it appears again.

Just curious, back in the day at the vet clinic flushing ears and meds was a fantastic cure. Hmmm

So finish new meds first and then do Zymox? New ear drops are Baytril Otic.

Are you sure it's ear infection and not mites? Just a thought.

Also, a home remedy is to use 1/1 vinegar and water (either white or apple cider vinegar - I vote for ACV). That mixture can be used as long as the infection isn't too advanced or involve the ear drum.

The local Bomgaars store (kind of like a small Fleet Farm store) welcomes dogs on leashes so I took Maddie in for the first time. She quickly found her favorite aisle. :)

Priceless! TSC promotes the same thing! Dog treat and dog food isle, along with the pen holding all the chicks is Maple's favorite, everything else is just human. :)

No, if you saw the rest of her you would know she needs a low calorie, low fat bone instead. :)
