Greetings all, hope everyone's been having a great week or two - crazy busy here w/ driving the Boss to/from work with the new job: my travel time on the road has tripled. That was part of the deal w/ her accepting the job: chauffeur services until the weather breaks / until she is comfortable doing the commute w/ the different work schedule vs. the old job.

Her schedule is early am -> early afternoon, and of course dumb-azz me picks up extra work hours late evening, so I have been a case-study in 'sleep deprivation therapy' lately. :picard:

It's worth it though: more hours @ the job, better pay.. And she's much happier. * Life's too short to be unhappy, it's all good.

Got the Income Taxes done, somehow, in the mix of above: my brain's completely fried now. :loco:

Not much going on here pellet-wise lately, Francesca stove is still roasting LGs excellently - might be time for a full cleaning later today.

Then off to visit the ladies, at each respective school, today and tomorrow. ( Yay, more driving. )

This week's weather was pretty whacked: snow, then sleet, then ice - got quite a bit on the trees here / was starting to look ominous for several hours, then several hours of ice and limbs breaking off as the warmer rain moved in.. Much the same as JT's weather, a few short 'blips' of power, but no major outage thankfully.

Snowy, when I was looking at washers when we were having issues w/ the older Maytag here, those Samsung units that WW, Larry, and bogieb have would have been the top choice on my list, based on their recommendations. The other choice was to purchase an older (full agitator) replacement Maytag unit from a used Appliance store I visited / was impressed and comfortable with.. I had also learned there are certain "Commercial" units that may be exempt from the EPA regs. here in the US that still have a full agitator setup / are 'old school', but for the $$$, the Samsung units would probably be the better value.

*Old washer here is still chugging along, actually running very well, we are using much less soap though. A replacement drive pulley (for the motor) is still on the list of things-I-should-do here to fully complete the repair. (Now that I just reminded myself, I'm gonna order the part today.)

Hope everyone is staying warm and enjoying Smoothies - I am -still- looking forward to having one or several next week.

:headbang: Why do they make these things so complicated? The software wouldn't let me enter this in any of the given spaces. I had solar, wind, geothermal and fuel cell choices....no biomass. DUMB!

Line 22a. Enter the amounts you paid for energy-efficient building property. Energy-efficient building property is any of the following.

    • An electric heat pump water heater that yields an energy factor of at least 2.0 in the standard Department of Energy test procedure.
    • An electric heat pump that achieves the highest efficiency tier established by the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) as in effect on January 1, 2009.
    • A central air conditioner that achieves the highest efficiency tier that has been established by the CEE as in effect on January 1, 2009.
    • A natural gas, propane, or oil water heater that has an energy factor of at least 0.82 or a thermal efficiency of at least 90%.
    • A stove that uses the burning of biomass fuel to heat your home or heat water for your home that has a thermal efficiency rating of at least 75%. Biomass fuel is any plant-derived fuel available on a renewable or recurring basis, including agricultural crops and trees, wood and wood waste and residues (including wood pellets), plants (including aquatic plants), grasses, residues, and fibers.
Do not enter more than $300 on line 22a.

    Thanks CleanFire!!

60 and finally going to be Grandpa. Well, you have fun Grampa, Grandkids are a lot of fun. You can spoil them and then send them home to their parents where they gave offer up pay back for their parents misdeeds when they were little. :p
We now have two of our grandkids living in the same house as we do. Lots of fun. Makes me feel alive again.

The tunes are cool - at first. Then they irritate me. But apparently the irritation isn't enough for me to figure out how to shut them up
