    Gasifier , I was watching the local news station (7) they had 8.8 inches of snow for your area from this last storm, how much ice did you get?

    Not 100% sure, but prolly 1/2". It came about 1/2 way through the snow accumulation. I thought we got 10-12" of snow, but I never did get the tape measure out.

    I can tell you for sure it was some heavy chit to push with the 2500. But it did well. It was one of those storms I realized, again:picard:, that I should have put 600 lbs of logs in the back of the truck. Before it hit.:doh:

    Expecting some snow/sleet possible sun night and lIke what you posted tues/wed. The temps are leaving the question of how much of what.......? So long as there isnt freezing rain......

    They're forecasting about a half inch of rain and 1-3 inches of snow for next Wednesday and Thursday, what a freakin mess it will be.

    We're at 42 today with wind gust of 33 mph.

    Supposed to hit 60 here today! Unreal. Not even sure if I'm gonna do syrup this year, the forecast is terrible. I was gonna tap my trees this past week but ended up with the worst stomach virus I've ever had.

    Well I got the outdoor stuff done this morning. Swept chimney, changed out the oil in Dawns rig, and grabbed the wheelbarrow and collected twigs and such since all the split kindling was about out. A lot of cold starts this year....... there is snow in spots in the woods, the trails are a semi frozen bumpy mess in the wet areas. Not looking forward to a sloppy mess coming.......

    Rain and 42 here. Just went out and scraped the driveway down and did a stack and clean up with the loader before it all turns to concrete again. Looks like we had got about 3" of snow last night before the warm-up. Already for the next dump now.....................

    Glad your feeling better! Im opting out this year. Hate to say that, but the work schedule has sucked and the weather is undesireable for it. At least last year I kept the main sap drum in a huge snowpile to keep cold.

    They were yapping on the 6 pm news that Ottawa will get about 10-15 cm of snow Wednesday. Up here they are predicting a 40% chance of snow with no accumulations cited. When they start predicting this early, it usually doesn't happen. We'll see............................................
