    I don't have pictures, but my grandma's cousin was cutting down an old tree on the family farm in West Virginia and ran into a headstone. It was from my who-knows-how-many-greats-grandfather that served under Washington in the War of Independence. If I remember correctly the land was granted to him for serving and is still in the family.
