I never see pellets in ad - you have to go to their website (or to the store) to see when they are on sale, or even that they have them. Or at least that is how it is around here. same with Lowe's

Yep. Plus they all have the same SKU number here. So they may list that they have Clean Energy's, but they may have never (ever) had Clean Energy's. You have to call and ask what brands they carry.

In my case, the Elyria store said they only had Tru glow (thermo glo??) But that's because that's the ton they had open. They have twice as many tons of Chow, but none of the workers now the difference around here. Nor do they care. A pellet is a pellet to them.

Hey Dex...how many tons do they have left (approx)??

For the first time I put a box fan blowing into the stove room....wow did that spread the heat overnight! 77 in the hall and more impressively 70 in the cold a$$ kitchen!

Yes sir.. Blowing cold air to warm air is the way to do it!!

There was probably 15-20 ton out front (1 of those being junk Tru glo). And maybe 20-30 ton out back (being 50/50 - Chow vs Junk)

Anything wrapped in white is Stove Chow. Black is the Tru Junk!! Or Thermo Junk! I can't remember what it was? But I burned 3 bags last year and they were terrible!

I had a lame azz boyfriend in highschool, but he was great at fixing my car and never left me stranded:), even put a new starter and struts in after we broke up. Yep, I hope things turned out well for him despite his issues.

Black plastic was ThermaGlo's (Thermo Junk) last fall (might be the Tru Junks too for all I know). Yellow plastic wraps PTL's. I can't remember what FSU's are wrapped in - probably because I've always bought that by the bag and not had tons delivered.

Got up last night around midnight to visit the head, and the house was 77 F and this was with only the Li'l Whit burning.

Holy $#IT Frank, noooooo, shut that thing off and crawled back in the sack.
By 6 am though the Widdle Hairless cat Chupi was firmly ensconced up tight next to me in bed.

65 F in the house, so not bad for FEB night with the stove off 6 hours.

Chupi runs over and looks in the stove and then turns and chirps at me (Fire, build a fire please)

Got my coffee going and then tossed a fire in the P2 and all is well.

Not that often we run nearly all night in the winter without a stove running.

My condolences to those who are dealing with the bitter cold.

While you are making a list I would throw Blazers on there. They have been known to be a box store pellet.

To break even with oil up here that price would have to be 159.60/ton or $3.20/bag
