I will say that employers are taking longer and longer to make decisions as of the last couple of years. You'll nearly never get an answer on the spot anymore, even if you knock their socks off in interviews.
Sorry for the delay in letting everyone know. I received a verbal offer from that company on Thursday.
It's the type of job I was hoping for. Money was right in where I hoped it would be. My buddy was onsite with them for 6 months, and really liked the team. Which tells me it should be a good fit.
That's great news. It's not just the money. You have to like it there too for it to work out well. I took a job not to long ago and while the $ was good, it was a toxic work environment. I asked all the right questions in my numerous interviews, but was lied to. I didn't find out until too late. After that I found a great job where both the employer and I were looking for the same thing. I'm very happy where I'm at now. But I learned an important lesson. I hope this is everything it appears to be. Congrats!!!!
