Pellet heads!! What's up today?

I bought one of those weather stations that measures all sorts of conditions. It recorded a low temp of -10. now up to +3 F in the sun. Wind at 4 to 10 MPH. I haven't been outside. Too cold for me unless I have to. So far, I am content to sit right here.

 

-17F last night (now -8F). Weatherman says wind chill was -42F early AM.

To cold to move the beast today. It will have to remain on crutches until tomorrow.

The Mrs wants me to replace it. Says she could not trust it anymore. I said that is OK cause when it is repaired I won't trust it any less.

 

-6* was the coldest I saw this morning. With the winds last night, I'm guess it got to -15-20* wind chill.
Car had a little bit of a tough time starting this morning when I went for the paper, but with no block heater, I guess that's to be expected, even with synthetic in the crankcase.

I saw -11 at 7:00 AM. It's up to 1 now. Wind is still blowing pretty good. Beautiful day, not a cloud in the shy. Unlike others, I'm getting a lot of solar gain. I having trouble keeping it comfortable in here, it keeps getting too warm.

 

Well, I'll clean tomorrow and punch the four bags I got last week. Then if they work for me here, I'll go get 10-20 more and really try them. BTW, that vibration noise isn't as bad now that I'm using LG's aka Satisfaction's.

 

It's -14* outside. The wife came in from the barn, she loaded and stoked up the wood stove. It was plenty warm in here already, but she was cold. Now, she just complained that the kitchen is 93* and too hot.

Just broke positive numbers at 1* here and full sunshine. The wild birds have just started showing up to the feeders - way too cold for them to venture out this morning, even for the juncos.

Have been a slug so far today. Finally got shower taken and dried my hair in front of the P43. sTarted a load of laundry and put out feed for the wild birds. while it is warm at +1*, I need to run to the store (actually, I think I will drive ), then come back and hibernate some more .
