Wifey either feels bad for my trials or guilty cause I was working at the shop.

In either event she keeps coming over and refilling my glass.

Either that or she is trying to make me easy tonight

    :smoke:

Cold tonight!!! I don't know if we got above 10° today? Temps are gonna be chilly tonight.

Pellet furnace is loaded with Sets and wood stove was just loaded again :)

Wife and I are now watching Netflix and Chillin ;) :drunk:

Edit - Current temp says 3° on my outdoor thermo. Just walked in the kitchen to grab another beverage.

Wow Sparten, that could have been my fate also. One day I had heard a creaking noise and endeavored to find it's origins. I saw these and figured it was time. I swapped these out last summer. Some were worn down to almost nothing, one was worn to nothing. I keep upgrading everything. Friday I installed a new blower motor and resistor.

One night years ago I was on the NYState Thruway and suddenly felt a jar and looked out to see sparks flying from my front right wheel. I had just has brand new tires put on at Sears. All of the studs had sheared off. The wheel was bouncing next to the passenger door window as we were both slowing down from 65 MPH.

    Glad to hear you're OK!!!

I had the opposite experience, used a particular tire shop for almost 2 decades while driving high miles, frequent flyer for new shoes and changing in and out studded snows (all 4 wheels) There was a year period that they sent to another shop and paid to get the stud drilled out and replaced several times. The down time was a PITA for me. :picard:adjust or learn your pnuematic thing and make sure the nut is threaded before bullying it on sideways and stripping it! So glad you are ok too!!

Who turned on the winter switch? It is cold, right now with the wind chill feels like -3. I just checked and we have a wind advisory in effect and it could feel like 10 to 20 below with the wind chill. We also have a storm moving in Sunday evening bringing snow, and and then freezing rain on top of that. I know you all up north may laugh, but I do not enjoy it when it gets this cold. Stay warm my friends. Family was here till 11pm playing games, and having good food for my sisters birthday, it was a very nice evening!

It's a 'balmy' -18.5 F here this am, with wind chill of -44 F, it's very frosty outside right now. :shiver:

Been a crazy couple of weeks, between the Boss starting her new job & me working extra hours - lots of traveling & extra time on the road. Car didn't want to start this am, it was protesting, but finally kicked over. This is block heater weather out there. :picard:

Hope everyone stays warm & has a Happy Valentine's Day, I think I'll buy the wife some Thermal Lingerie on the way home.

-21* here this morning. Light wind anyway. Supposed to get up to the single digits today, with increased winds.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was actually a bit colder since that is outside one of the windows that hasn't been replaced since the house was new - in 1960. I know there is heat loss there, but the thermometer is about a foot off the glass, so maybe it isn't being affected.

    Ineffective Sunshine today.

My male cat HAD to go out this morning because it looks so sunny and warm out there. I finally let him find out just how ineffective that sun is today.
He went out the garage door and in the front door real quick

It only got down to -10F over night here, I have no idea about any wind chill figures however the boss was out to pick up eldest grand daughter from kid's night out and said it was brutal because of the wind.

Have already answered the question from Netgear that was in my email.

The question and my response follows:

    Hi David,

I am answering on behalf of my colleague. I would just like to confirm, is the HDD connected to the C3700? If so, is it via Ethernet or USB?

    Thank you for choosing NETGEAR.

    Regards,

    Hi Li,

The device is USB, it is a Seagate Backup Plus Slim 1TB unit.

And it functions just fine, your WNDR4500 fully indexed my entire Media collection without difficulty.

The C3700 barfs after a certain number of files, In fact it barfs before finishing my MP3 collection, it barfs even if the collection is on a USB stick.

    Regards,
    David

PS: Does your Media scanner produce a log file if so where is it? Is there source code available for the software at the level of the firmware running in my unit (Time Warner Cable)? Some of the code in the system is covered by the GPL where can I download it?
